How to get out of Trakai whilst being too cheap to turn mobile data on?

I've spent the morning wandering around. It's 12:30 and I believe there's a mini-bus that goes to Kaunas at 13:15. But I'm not at the bus station, I'm at the train station.

It's locked. Deserted, not a soul in around... but I sit here in hope.

You see it is my belief that there will be a train at 13:21. Granted I expect it to go in the wrong direction but I also expect there to be a connection I can make to Kaunas. I believe this is pretty much my only chance for significant train travel on this trip so I'm going to take it.

If my Lithuanian sign reading skills are any good I've confirmed the train I want exists and I think the ticket office will open at 12:50.

I really rather hope I'm right about this as otherwise I don't really know how I'm going to leave this town...

Woohoo! - I've made it to Lentvaris and should be just 25 minutes away from a train to Kaunas which leaves me 2 hours to find my hotel.

In my final 40 minutes on Trakai station I made friends with another cat and then spent the train journey here chatting to a girl from Minsk who was basically on a city break to Vilnius and had, unlike me, taken the very sensible approach of only devoting a couple of hours to Trakai rather than almost an entire day. Pretty yes, but really not much there beyond the castle.

15 minutes from Kaunas: Note to self: Pay attention when shopping as this is the key to avoiding the purchase of fizzy water.

Made it to Kaunas, found hotel and went exploring. Found some herring and duck for dinner and ended the night in a side alley (outside bar area) listening to some blues.
