2012-09-13: Day 9 - Vilnius & Paneraii
So Tores was good last night. The goulash soup in particular. Wandered back through the town and had an Irish coffee.
I've given up on making it out to Stalin world. Couldn't guarantee the bus to and from the park and didn't fancy a 2 hour each way ride if it wasn't going to work out.
I will get out of Vilnius for a bit though and head to Paneriai which is basically a location the Nazi's used to kill and bury people. Will then do the Holocaust museum and Genocide museums when back in Vilnius this afternoon.
Sounds like a bunch of giggles doesn't it?!
On Paneriai station waiting for the train back to Vilnius. Very few people at the memorial which was nice as it kept it very quiet and poignant. As with so many things that happened during the war it just boggles the mind.
