2013-11-20: Day 56
And so it has come to pass. Final day in the office and as can be expected it's a bit hectic and I end up being late for my own leaving do... that's dedication for you.
Some highlights of the day though...
Went to lunch in the canteen on the ground floor of the building. I'll be honest, I hadn't actually worked out that there was a canteen up to this point. It was hiding round the corner from the coffee shop. Ho hum
They had a burger special on so most of us partook of that. Having loaded my plate up with burger and chips I dived for the salt, pepper and chilli sauce.
This resulted in me being stared at.
It seems black pepper is a rarely used item and the merest notion that I may use some, never mind the smothering quantities that I tend to use, was worthy of comment and query. How exactly it's taken eight weeks to find this out I'm not entirely sure.
After work we met up in a bar for some good food, drink and laughs and a few too many shots of Pálinka. A fitting summation to a really enjoyable trip.
